Risks and fees to clarify
Discuss infection, incomplete healing and the possibility of additional treatment. Confirm whether membranes, imaging and follow-up are included in the estimate.
Compare what is included
- Consultation, examination and imaging
- Preparatory and related procedures
- Materials, laboratory work and temporary restorations
- Anaesthesia or sedation, if indicated
- Final placement, adjustments and follow-up
- Long-term maintenance, repair and replacement
Insurance and the CDCP
Ask for a written estimate of the plan’s contribution and your share. Preauthorization may be needed. Practice fees and CDCP fees may differ. Do not assume that a procedure is covered because a practice participates in the plan.
