Care and long-term costs
Follow instructions for cleaning and overnight storage. Mouth tissues change over time, so relining, repair or replacement may be needed. Ask which adjustments are included and how ongoing care is priced.
Compare what is included
- Consultation, examination and imaging
- Preparatory and related procedures
- Materials, laboratory work and temporary restorations
- Anaesthesia or sedation, if indicated
- Final placement, adjustments and follow-up
- Long-term maintenance, repair and replacement
Insurance and the CDCP
Ask for a written estimate of the plan’s contribution and your share. Preauthorization may be needed. Practice fees and CDCP fees may differ. Do not assume that a procedure is covered because a practice participates in the plan.
